
Men's Tennis Picks Up 7-0 Win Over Mocs

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Mercer men's tennis team cruised past Chattanooga on Friday afternoon with a 7-0 win at the UTC Tennis Courts. The Bears improved to 10-11 overall and 3-1 in Southern Conference play.
The sweep is just the second for Mercer of the season. Four of the six Bears won their singles matches in two sets, while Manuel de Luis dropped his first set and rallied to defeat Gino Delavalle (4-66, 6-1, 1-0 (10-6)) and Arsav Mohanty also won in three sets (6-2, 5-7, 10-4).
Next up, Mercer will play its final road match of the season on Sunday, April 5. The Bears will face the Citadel Bulldogs at 1 p.m. in Charleston, S.C.
