Women's Tennis Falls to Missouri

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer University women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 match to Missouri on Friday evening at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.
Missouri edged Mercer 2-1 in doubles sets to win the doubles point and go up 1-0. The Bears and the Tigers looked close to splitting the singles matches, but Missouri tallied three wins first, clinching the match, 4-0. Two of the three singles matches that were left unfinished were on the verge of going to a third set.
Next up, Mercer will wrap up its three-match home stand on Saturday at 10: a.m. against the College of Charleston.
