Women's Tennis Sweeps Florida A&M

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer University women's tennis team swept Florida A&M, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon to improve to 2-1 on the season.
"We're happy we got a win at home," said Assistant Coach Hana Tomljanovic. "Everyone across the board played with intensity and the will to win. Hopefully we can use today's match as a confidence builder."
The Bears took control of the match for the start, winning the doubles point with 6-0 and 6-3 victories at flights two and three, respectively.
Mercer went on to win all six singles points in two sets apiece, completing the 7-0 sweep of Florida A&M.
Next up, Mercer will take on No. 40 Auburn on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2:00 p.m. in Auburn, Ala.
