MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Mercer's women's golf team carded a 29-over-par 313 Monday as a slow start stymied the Bears in the second round of the Golfweek Program Challenge at the Caledonia Golf and Fish club in Myrtle Beach.
Freshman Lauren Lightfritz led the team for a second consecutive day at 6-over-par but carded four bogeys in her first five holes to start before rebounding to string together a run of pars. She enters Tuesday's final round tied for 12th place at 5-over-par overall.
