Mercer Men’s Golf Tied for Fourth Following Two Rounds at EKU Intercollegiate

RICHMOND, Ky. – Justin Connelly fired back-to-back sub-par rounds Saturday and Mercer was the only team in the 18-team field to card a sub-par opening round as action began at the EKU Intercollegiate in Richmond.

Strong winds made Saturday's back-to-back rounds challenging for the field on the par-70 course.

Mercer enters the final day and final round of the EKU Intercollegiate 15 strokes back of the lead. The Bears will be paired with host Eastern Kentucky, Cleveland State and Ohio over the final 18 holes, starting with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
