Coach's Corner
"This was an all-around good game for everybody," said Gardner. "We've been in the middle of exams so we have had seven days of practice. We worked on new wrinkles and experimented today and it yielded positive results."
Â
On the fast start
"We try to get off to a fast start and we have had success doing that for most part. We are led by a great point guard with Sydni running the show. She is able to run the correct plays based off the defensive setup and that really helps us have the quick starts."
Â
On the domination from the defensive side
"We are an offensive-minded team, but we are becoming more defensive-minded for good reason. It has been really fun to watch this team continue to grow. We could have plateaued off but we are still finding ways to get better each game."
