Conrad Cornell was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored while Charlie Madden was 3-for-4, also with two RBIs and a run scored as the Bears put a runner on base in all eight innings they went to the plate.
Sawyer Gipson-Long (1-0) earned his first win of the year while Mercer (10-3) remained perfect at home this season.
