COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"We had our best tournament of the spring leading into conference, which is encouraging. We still have some work to do and need to work on our consistency as far as our rounds go. Our third and fourth scores are still a little bit too high – we need to be counting lower scores than that. We will be competitive in these tournaments once we do that."
"I am encouraged but there is still some work to do before conference. We are moving in the right direction and showing some good signs."
UP NEXT
The Bears now set their sights on the postseason as Mercer will head to the Southern Conference Championship on April 23-25. The conference championship tournament will be played on Pinehurst No. 9 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
