AUGUSTA, Ga. – Justin Connelly fired a 2-under-par 70 to lead Mercer in the final round of action as the 3M Augusta Invitational came to a close Sunday afternoon.

Overall Mercer had three golfers turn in scorecards at 2-over-par or better on the final day as the Bears maintained their position in 13^th place.

MERCER ON THE TEAM LEADERBOARD
The Bears maintained their position in 13^th place following a 4-over-par final round Sunday, finishing the tournament at 12-over-par 876, four strokes ahead of USC Aiken and eight strokes behind Tennessee.

MERCER ON THE INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD
Stanton Schorr turned in the most consistent scorecard on the week and finished at 2-over-par following a final round of 74 on Sunday to tie for 43^rd. Justin Connelly, two posted a sub-par round Sunday, finished at 5-over-par for the tournament to tie for 55th.

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"Our guys had a solid week as far as scoring average goes. We averaged 292 which is a very good improvement heading into the stretch run of the season. We had soem very good 18 hole performances by many of the guys this week. There are a lot of positives we can build on with this squad."

NEXT UP
Mercer will head to Nashville, Tennessee on April 10-11 for the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate hosted by Lipscomb.
