Bears Travel South for LSU’s David Toms Intercollegiate

Two-day tournament to be played at LSU’s University Club
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's golf team will travel to Baton Rouge, La. for the 10th-annual David Toms Intercollegiate, hosted by LSU at its University Club on Saturday and Sunday.
The 54-hole tournament will start with a 9:30 a.m. (ET) shotgun start on Saturday; the 13-team field will play 36 holes Saturday before ending the weekend with the third round on Sunday. Mercer has played two tournaments so far this fall, taking second place at Southern Miss' Sam Hall Intercollegiate and 12th at Toledo's Inverness Intercollegiate.

"We're looking forward to a great weekend of golf in Baton Rouge," said head coach Kirk Kayden. "Our guys have competed hard for spots in the lineup for this tournament and I'm confident we're getting back on track after our performance in Toledo.
"LSU's University Club is long with a wide variety of green complexes. We'll have to focus on getting familiar with the slopes of the greens in order to be successful."
