Mercer defeats Coastal Carolina in both matches

CONWAY, S.C. – Mercer (9-14, 3-7) defeated Coastal Carolina in a pair of matches to close out the Atlantic Sun conference play.

PLAYERS OF THE MATCHES
Third seed Jessica Johnson and Elli Gibson and fourth seed Kylie Keeling and Elli Merchant went undefeated for the day. Johnson and Gibson defeated the Chanticleers 2-0 then 2-1. Keeling and Merchant defeated the Chanticleers 2-0 in both matches.

UP NEXT
Mercer will travel to Deland, Fla. to compete in the first round of the Atlantic Sun Tournament beginning on Saturday, April 21 and ending on Sunday, Aprill 22. The tournament will include a double elimination bracket with a single elimination championship.
