Mercer Lineup About Moss Creek Golf Club
The SoCon Championships return to Moss Creek Golf Club for the first time since a six-year run there from 2009-14. The course has been referred to by Golf Digest as "a beauty with a bite." Much of the nationally famous Devil's Elbow South Course stretches along the lovely salt marshes along the Intracoastal Waterway and Mackay Creek, which brushes along the northern reaches of the property. Considered one of George and Tom Fazio's best efforts, the course was built in 1975.
Â
Revisiting 2017 SoCon Championships
Mercer placed fourth by shooting 39-over-par with first and second round scores of 303 and 312 at the Country Club of Lexington. Terese Romeo and Hannah Mae Deems are the lone Bears in this year's lineup to have played in last year's tournament. Romeo (+12) and Deems (+14) tied for 23rd and 30th, respectively.
