Mercer Women to Host Brickyard Collegiate

MACON, Ga. – Mercer is set to host 14 teams at the second annual Brickyard Collegiate, presented by Mizuno Golf, at The Brickyard Golf Club at Riverside on April 8-10.

The 54-hole, three-day event will conclude Mercer's 2017-18 regular season. Mercer shot 28-over-par to finished tied for fourth behind three top-40 programs in the 2017 Brickyard Collegiate.

ABOUT THE BRICKYARD
The Brickyard Golf Club was built in 1961 by Charles "Chic' Adams. It was formally Riverside Golf and Country Club prior to its purchase in December 2003 by brothers Kenneth and Alfred Sams, Jr. The Sams brothers envisioned constructing a true championship caliber golf course for central Georgia that would commemorate their personal ties to Macon golf and contracted former PGA TOUR player Mark McCumber to redesign the golf course and all facilities. It is now an immaculately maintained and private club with a membership of approximately 300.

SUNDAY'S TEE TIMES & PAIRINGS
Mercer's five starters will tee off from hole No. 1 at 8:30-9:10 a.m. Sunday with LSU and Vanderbilt. Karina Kukkonen and Jaelyn Tindal will be paired with Troy's individual player and tee off from hole No. 10 at 8:40 a.m.
