Mercer finishes fall on high note

MACON, Ga. – Mercer Women's Golf wrapped up its 2019 fall schedule with a strong finish at the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship at the Idle Hour Golf Club Tuesday.

No. 21 Charlotte claimed the team title with a 3-under 861 through 54 holes, led by Cecile Finne-Ipsen – who tied with Georgia Southern's Ella Ofstedahl. Mercer's Laila Hrindova finished the round with a 1-over par 73 to turn in a 3-under for the tournament and finish as the runner up behind Finne-Ipsen's and Ofstedahl's 7-under.
