Bears seeking third win of season

MACON, Ga. – Mercer will take its first road trip of the season to face Florida A&M at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Moore-Kittles Field in Tallahassee, Fla.

The Bears (2-1) are coming off a season-opening series win against Evansville in Macon. Live stats for Wednesday's game against the Rattlers (0-3) will be provided.

Batting Practice

Mercer and Florida A&M will play against one another four times this season.

Scouting Florida A&M
The Rattlers are 0-3 after their opening weekend at the Andre Dawson Classic in New Orleans, La., where they lost to Southern, Eastern Kentucky and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Florida A&M hosts Missouri at 4 p.m. Tuesday before turning around to face the Bears the following day.

Four Rattlers – catcher Brett Maxwell, pitcher Dylan Carson, Kaycee Reese and Willis McDaniel – were named to the 2019 preseason All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference team. Florida A&M was picked to finish third in the MEAC Southern Division behind North Carolina A&T and Bethune-Cookman.
