Coach Kayden's Take
"We weren't at our best today but we had a very respectable finish in a talented field and beat some perennial power golf schools in Houston and UCF," said head coach Kirk Kayden. "The guys played hard but just didn't execute as well as we did on Saturday.
"I'm proud of Stanton for another top-10 finish and Martin for a top-20 finish as a freshman. It is very encouraging to have our team shoot under par in a tournament like this."
Mercer on Team Leaderboard
Despite dropping two spots on the team leaderboard on Sunday, Mercer earned an eighth-place finish and bested programs included No. 24 USC Aiken, Houston, UCF and Virginia Tech. Mercer was one of nine teams to shoot under par for the tournament.

Stanton Schorr and Martin Plukka finished inside the top-20 individually, with Schorr tying for fifth. Schorr and Lino Galdin both carded even-par 72 on the final day of play.
