Bears Begin Spring Slate in Sunshine State

MACON, Ga. – Mercer Men's Golf gets back on the links as it kicks off the 2020 spring season at the President's Day Match Play tournament, hosted by George Washington, at the Weston Hills Country Club on Monday.

The course was built in 1990 and has major events such as the PGA Honda Classic (1992-95) and LPGA Chrysler Plymouth Tournament of Champions (1997).

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"We are looking forward to playing in our first event of the year. The guys are playing good golf going in and I feel very confident playing in a match play format with our top 6 right now. We have put them in a competitive match play format the past month so our players are prepared for this event. Good preparation in the practice round will be important at Weston Hills on Sunday."
