Popham Signs to Play at Mercer

Ashley Popham becomes the fourth signee to the 2020-21 class
MACON, Ga. - Mercer head women's tennis coach Eric Hayes has announced the addition of Ashley Popham to the program for the 2020-21 season.
Popham is a three-star recruit from Cartersville, Ga. She went to Cartersville High School and has been a top 20 junior player in Georgia and a Top 100 in the southeast. While at Cartersville HS, she led the team to a Final Four appearance in the state tournament during the 2019 season. Popham went on to win the Georgia State Spring open last year.
Popham joins Lekha Varudani, France Antenzana Dorado and Kristin Yordanova to the 2020-21 signing class.Â
