Tyler Copp shot a 1-under par for the second consecutive round

LAKE HARTWELL, Ga. – Senior Tyler Copp of the Mercer men's golf team shot his second consecutive 1-under par to move into the top five of the JT Poston Invitational after the second round at the Cateechee Golf Club on Monday.

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"We have to continue to work on our Par 5 play as we were over par on those holes. Getting the ball in play off the tee and our wedge play on those holes needs to improve. The teams that do well in these events typically score well on those holes, and that is something we need to get better at. We will continue to play hard until the final putt is made on Tuesday.

"I'm proud of Tyler for hanging in there today with another under par round. He has put himself into good position going into the last day."
