COACH DRINKARD'S TAKE
"I'm proud of the team today. We were a little rusty out of the gate, but they handled it well after returning from the long layoff. We talked about a few areas that we can clean up tomorrow, and we're looking forward to applying those adjustments in the second round.
"Payton really hit the ball well today all over the course. From the tee box to the green, she gave herself opportunities to score today."
