The Bears are set to play their second event of the spring semester

Palm Beach, Fla. – The Mercer men's golf team heads down to the Sunshine State for its second tournament of the spring as the Bears travel to the Southern Invitational at The Falls Golf Club in Palm Beach on Monday and Tuesday.

Campbell's Josh Hetherington is the only top-100 player competing in the tournament as he's ranked 95th in the country.

TEE TIMES
Mercer's five golfers will be split into two groups with VCU's Cam Berackman joining the second group. The Bears will tee of at 8:30 a.m. as part of a shotgun start and will begin on the eighth and ninth holes.

COACH'S TAKE
"We're looking forward to getting back on the course. Coming off a great win last weekend, we have to refocus our attention to the next tournament. It looks like a position-type of golf course where you have to be in the correct position off the tee in order to score well. We're going to have to do our homework during the practice round to get ready. We have some older guys on the team who have gone through back-to-back weeks before with Tyler, Lino and Martin, so they will be able to lead us this week. The guys are playing with confidence right now, and we're confident they're can continue to have a lot of success and compete at a high level."
