Martin Plukka shot a 1-under par 71 on Tuesday

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Mercer men's golf team wrapped up its regular season at the Wofford Invitational from the Country Club of Spartanburg on Tuesday.

Senior Tyler Copp and junior Martin Plukka paced the squad with a pair of top-20 finishes as both players tied for 16th at 1-over par for the tournament.

"We did not play well this week overall as a team. We need to have a good week of practice this week and fine tune some of the mistakes we made. In golf, you need to have a short memory and move on to your next challenge. I'm confident we will have a good week of practice and be prepared for the SoCon Championships at Lake Oconee."
