Jonsson Places Second Overall

SAPPHIRE, N.C. – Tobias Jonsson ties for a second place finish, carding team lows in both the first (64 (-7)) and third (69(-2)) rounds. Mercer places 11th overall.

Martin Plukka tied for 40^th overall, shooting one under par in the third round. Jay Spivey's third round was his recorded lowest at 72(+1). Spivey tied at 52^nd while Trey Mixon tied at 67^th after breaking even in the third round. Will Adams finished in a tie for 82^nd place, recording his lowest round in the second, 72(+2).

Mercer will return to action on October 11^th at the Georgia State Invitational. The golfers will play 36 holes on the 11^th followed by 18 holes the next day.
