Mercer Finishes 11th

West Point, Miss.,—Sometimes in golf, ya just ain't got it. The Ally Tournament hosted by Mississippi State was one of the those times for the Mercer Women's golf team.
The Bears finished 11^th in the 11 team field at Old Waverly Golf Course in West Point, Mississippi. At +75 the Bears were 72 shots behind tournament winner Mississippi. Southern Methodist finished two shots out of first place at +5, then there was a significant drop to third place Mississippi State at +22.

Kate Song was low Bear at +13. Other Mercer scores were Carol Pyon +21; Camilla Järvelä +22; Mikayla Dubnik +23; and Tracy Rodriguez +29.

The Bears will have time to regroup for their next tournament, on familiar ground. They will host the Mercer Invitational Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Brickyard Golf Club.
