
Volleyball Sign Three

MACON, Ga. – Mercer volleyball head coach Derek Schroder obtains three signees after National Signing Day.
"I am excited to add some amazing young people and a little size to our 23' roster," said Schroder. "These 3 all have a ton of potential and we think will put in the work to meet and exceed it."
THE SIGNEES:
Lauren DeSiletsÂ
Desilets is from Warner Robins, GA, and was a four-year varsity player at Houston County HS. She was named captain of her squad this year and has been a part of the 1st place Region and County team. DeSilets was also named region player of the year.Â
Aliyah WaldonÂ
Ali Waldon attended Clearwater Central Catholic HS in Clearwater, FL. The Florida native led her squad to two regional championships, state semifinalists, and one state championship. She has a total of 704 career kills with over 500 digs. Waldon was named VCA high school all American this year. She plans to study psychology at Mercer.Â
Bella WynjaÂ
The 6'1 middle blocker comes from Indianapolis, IN. Wynja attends Heritage Christian School and has been on varsity for three years. She helped led her team to regionals in 2021 and was on the All-City squad twice. Wynja plans to study kinesiology in the fall.Â

"Mercer Volleyball is looking for a huge turnaround next year to get back to the top of this conference and this class is a solid start," said Schroder. "We are still hunting to augment it with more and more."
