Harper was named an All-American as an all-purpose player
MACON, Ga. - Mercer wide receiver Devron Harper was named an Associated Press (AP) All-American, it was announced Tuesday.
Harper earned the recognition as an all-purpose player on the Third Team. He becomes the first player in Mercer history to be named an AP All-American.

- Was a unanimous First Team All-SoCon selection by the coaches and media.
- Walter Payton Award Finalist (FCS Offensive Player of the Year).
- Harper broke six school records throughout the season.
- Finished the season with a conference-leading 16 total touchdowns including 10 receiving, four rushing touchdowns, one kickoff return for a touchdown, and one punt return for a touchdown.
- He finished with a school record 78 receptions to go with 987 receiving yards.
- His 1,878 all-purpose yards this season set a school record and ranked fourth in the country.
- Led the SoCon with an average of 29.1 yards per kick return.
- Had an 87-yard punt return for a touchdown against VMI, the longest punt return in school history.
