Amoria Neal-Tysor Named SoCon Player of the Week

Neal-Tysor led Bears with 19 points in win over Kennesaw State
MACON, Ga. -  Mercer guard Amoria Neal-Tysor was named SoCon Player of the Week the league announced on Tuesday. It is the first SoCon Player of the Week recognition this season for Neal-Tysor.
The Bears played just one game over the last seven days, a 60-57 win at Kennesaw State. In the game, Neal-Tysor led all scorers with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting to go with six rebounds and two assists.
For the season Neal-Tysor is averaging a team-high 15.2 points per game and is second on the team in field goal percentage at 42.0 percent. She ranks fifth in the SoCon in scoring.
