Bears to start three-game weekend series with Peacocks
MACON, Ga. – Mercer will host a three-game nonconference series against Saint Peter's this weekend, beginning Friday at Noon inside OrthoGeorgia Park.Â

Friday's game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. but due to inclement weather in the area, the first pitch has been moved to Noon. As of right now, the first pitch for the Saturday and Sunday games are at 2 p.m. and 1 p.m. as originally scheduled.Â

At 12-1, the Bears are off to their best start in school history. The Orange & Black have faced two ranked opponents from the ACC this year and have won on walk off singles to take down #10 Florida State and #13 Georgia Tech.

The Peacocks enter the weekend with 3-6 overall record and are coming off a 24-1 loss to Longwood on Wednesday night. The three wins for Saint Peter's came in a four-game series against Coppin State when the Peacocks took the first three of the series. The Peacocks are on a five-game skid. Â
