ATHENS, GA.– The Mercer Women's Golf Team finished 14^th(898, +34) in the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic at the UGA Golf Course in in Athens, Georgia, on Friday through Sunday. The three-day competition, with the first two rounds on Friday and Saturday followed by the final 18 on Sunday was the fourth event of the 2022 spring season for the Bears.

Junior Tracy Rodriguez led the Bears at the 2022 Liz Murphy Collegiate. Shortly following Rodriquez, freshman Mikayla Dubnik shined as she finished just one stroke behind her.

Coach Drinkard's Thoughts
"UGA is a challenging golf course on any normal day. In high winds it was one of the more difficult golf courses we have played so far this year. We learned a lot about our team and how we like to operate and we will take away the positives from this weekend and continue to build on them. After a couple days of rest, we will regroup and we will start preparing for our next outing as we host The Brickyard Collegiate."
