Kylee Quigley Wins Offensive Player of the Week

MACON – For the second week in a row, Mercer has received Player of the Week honors. Kylee Quigley is Offensive Player of the Week after helping lead the Bears past Wofford and UNCG.
In her first season at Mercer, graduate student Kylee Quigley has twice surpassed her career high in kills, recording 21 in Saturday's 3-0 win at Wofford. She also led the team in blocks (three) and recorded one service ace. Quigley hit an impressive .409 for the game and scored 24 points. In Friday's match at UNCG, she led the Bears and the match in kills (14) and aces (4) and also recorded two blocks and six digs. Her 19.5 points were the highest of the match.Â
Part of a supportive team that is very proud of her accomplishments thus far, Head Coach Chad Sutton says, "Kylee is an outstanding player who is heating up at the right time! She is an experienced winner who impacts the game in multiple facets."Â
The Bears are currently second in the Southern Conference with six games remaining in the regular season. Mercer will host Western Carolina at Hawkins Arena on October 26 at 6 p.m. and The Citadel on October 27 at 6 p.m.
