Bears finished 9th out of 12 teams

WEST POINT, Miss. - Katie Scheck shot a 72 (E) in her final round on Wednesday at The Ally, to finish in ninth place in the 69 player field.

In the final round the Bears shot 13-over 301 to move up one spot for ninth place in the tournament at 42-over 906. Florida won The Ally with a team score of 1-under 863.

Scheck shot par or better in her first and third rounds as she carded a 1-under 71 in the first round on Monday and finished the tournament at 3-over 218. Florida's Maisie Filler won the tournament with an 8-under 208.

Mikayla Dubnik and Ella Mäki-Tanila each had their best rounds on Wednesday as Dubnik shot 74 (+2) and Mäki-Tanila shot a 75 (+3).

Up next for the Bears is the Mercer Invitational October 30-31 in Forsyth, Georgia.
