Bears to Open Season At Wexford

Macon, Ga—With a record setting fall schedule, the Bears head to Wexford in Hilton Head, S.C. tomorrow to open up their spring contest.

"We look forward to getting the spring portion of our schedule started down in Hilton Head," Payne said. "With the amount of practice time we have had leading up to this event, I know our guys are ready to compete again. The team is ready to content for another team title."

In the fall the team set a new team scoring mark of -39 at the Streamsong Invitational. The team was briefly ranked as high as number nine in the country with Trey Mixon and Tobais Jonsson each earning Southern Conference Golfer of the Week honors. Jonsson took medalist honors at the Pinetree Invitational, and the Bears won the team title at that event.
