
Women's Golf Finishes Tied For Fourth At Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

Kate Song finished tied for sixth on player leaderboard
EATONTON, Ga. - The Mercer women's golf team moved up two spots on the leaderboard on Sunday to finish tied for fourth at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational at Great Waters.
Mercer (+40) finished nine strokes back of Tournament champions Georgia Southern (+31). The Bears finished the tournament with their best round of the weekend on Sunday with a 295, 10 strokes better than when they shot 305 on Saturday.
Three Mercer golfers finished in the top-20, led by Kate Song who finished tied for sixth at five-over par for the tournament.
Carol Pyon moved up 11 spots to finish tied for 15th after carding her best round of the tournament at even par on Sunday and finished 9-over par for the tournament.
Mikayla Dubnik was the other Bear to finish in the top-20 as she was tied for 20th at 11-over par and like Pyon had her best round of the tournament on Sunday at 2-over 74.
Mercer finished the tournament with the most pars with 177 and led all teams on par 4s at 30-over par. Tracy Rodriguez and Kate Song finished tied for third in the field with 38 pars in the tournament.

The Bears won't play again until March when they head out west to Mesa, Arizona for the Notre Dame Clover Cup March 10-12.
