MESA, Ariz. - The Mercer women's golf team finished the first round of the Notre Dame Clover Cup with a team score of 318 (+30) at Longbow Golf Club on Friday.

The Bears are 14th in the team standings with two more rounds to play. In a field that consists of five teams who rank inside the top-50, No. 10 Texas A&M leads the field after the first round with a team score of 283 (-5).

Tracy Rodriguez had the lowest score in the first round for the Bears with a 78 (+6). Camilla Järvelä led the Bears with 12 pars and was even on the four par 3s.
