Tracy Rodriguez Cards Five Birdies To Lead Bears In Third Round At Clover Cup

Bears finished in 12th out 14 teams at Clover Cup
MESA, Ariz. - The Mercer women's golf team finished the 2023 Notre Dame Clover Cup on Sunday in 12th place out 14 teams who competed in the tournament at Longbow Golf Club.
The Bears finished the third round with an 11-over 299 on Sunday and concluded the tournament at 49-over 913.
In a field that consisted of five teams that ranked inside the top-50, No. 10 Texas A&M came out at the top of the leaderboard at 23-under 841.
Tracy Rodriguez had the best round of the day on Sunday for the Bears with a round of 72 (E). With a shotgun start to begin the third round Rodriguez had five birdies on the day, including four in a row on holes 18, 1, 2, and 3.
With her round of 72, Rodriguez moved up 10 spots on the leaderboard to finish in a tie for 43rd at 11-over along with Camilla Järvelä. Järvelä finished the tournament with 36 pars, three less than Georgia's Candice Mahe who led the field with 39 pars.
