Bears Head to California

Macon, Ga.— The Bears are off to California for The Goodwin at Harding Park this week.

"The team is energized to go play against such a good field on a major championship course," said head coach Payne.

MERCER LINEUP

    This will be the 53rd playing of The Goodwin hosted by Stanford University and Stanford Men's Golf. The tournament honors Stanford's men's golf coach (1987-2000) Wally Goodwin who passed away in 2021.

    The teams present will be Stanford, St. Mary's, Brigham Young University, Uc Berkeley, Cal Poly, Uc Davis, Florida Atlantic University, UCLA, Fresno State, USC, Georgia Tech, University Of Colorado, Howard University, University Of Nevada, Lipscomb, University Of Oklahoma, Little Rock, University Of Oregon, University Of San Diego, Northern Illinois, University Of San Francisco, San Jose State University, University Of Utah, Santa Clara University, University Of Washington, Southern Methodist University, and Washington State University.

    The Mercer men's golf team are coming a tie for thirteenth finish at the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters Golf Club. Tobias Jonsson tied for 18th beating out multiple southern conference opponents.
