MACON – Four teams are set to compete this week, including the women's basketball team and the nationally-ranked football team who will be in action at home. The 2024 Southern Conference champion volleyball team will open up play at the league championships this weekend as well.

| The women's basketball team will play the first of three games across a five-day stretch when it travels to Starkville, Miss., to take on Southeastern Conference powerhouse Mississippi State. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Humphrey Coliseum. |
| THURSDAY (11/21) |
| The men's basketball team will get its turn against a Southeastern Conference foe on Thursday when it makes the trip to Columbia, S.C., to tangle with South Carolina. Start time has been scheduled for 7 p.m. inside USC's Colonial Life Arena. |
| FRIDAY (11/22) |
| The top-seeded volleyball team will open up play in the 2024 Southern Conference Tournament when it takes on the winner of the play-in game between eighth-seeded Western Carolina and ninth-seeded UNC Greensboro. Friday's first-round matchup is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Spartanburg, S.C. The women's basketball team will be in action at home again on Friday when it welcomes Charleston Southern to Macon for a 7 p.m. tilt inside Hawkins Arena. | The nationally-ranked football team gets its chance to claim the Southern Conference title outright when it battles league nemesis Furman in a 3 p.m. tilt at Five Star Stadium. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. Should it capture a win in Friday's action at the Southern Conference Tournament, the volleyball team will square off with either fourth-seeded Samford or fifth-seeded The Citadel in the semifinal round. First service of that potential matchup is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Spartanburg, S.C. |

| The women's basketball team will take to the road again when it locks horns with Austin Peay inside F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tenn. TIpoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. The championship game of the 2024 Southern Conference Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C. The NCAA Division I Football Championship bracket will be announced via a selection show special set to air on ESPNUÂ at 12:30 p.m. |
