MACON – Seven teams are in action this week, including both basketball teams who will open their 2024-25 campaign with home games. The volleyball team is the only other Mercer squad in action at home this week.

| MONDAY (11/4) |
| The men's golf team will wrap up action at the USC Upstate-hosted Fripp Island Intercollegiate in Fripp, S.C., while the women's basketball team will open its regular season campaign by hosting UNC Asheville in a 7 p.m. contest inside Hawkins Arena. | WEDNESDAY (11/6) |
| The volleyball team will travel to Cullowhee, N.C., to make up its previously scheduled contest with Western Carolina. That matchup was originally scheduled to take place on September 27, but was postponed due to the residual effects of Hurricane Helene. |
| THURSDAY (11/7) |
| The volleyball team will suit back up again on Thursday when it makes the short hop to Greenville, S.C., to take on Furman at 6 p.m. The Mercer men's basketball team will open its 2024-25 season when it welcomes Virginia-Lynchburg to Hawkins Arena for a 7 p.m. contest. Tickets are still available, and can be purchased by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. |
| FRIDAY (11/1) |
| Two teams are scheduled to compete away from Macon on Friday. The men's tennis team will open up competition at the three-day Wofford Invitational in Spartanburg, S.C., while the fifth-seeded men's soccer team will battle Furman in the opening round of the Southern Conference Tournament. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Greensboro, S.C. |
| SATURDAY (11/2) |
| Saturday is the busiest day of the week for Mercer's athletic teams as four are scheduled to compete, including the volleyball team's home battle with Southern Conference rival Samford. First service is slated for 7 p.m. in Hawkins Arena and admission is free. Three teams will hit the road on Saturday as well. The men's tennis team will continue play at the Wofford Invitational in Spartanburg, S.C., while the women's basketball team will make the long trip to Boca Raton, Fla., for a 2 p.m. tipoff with Florida Atlantic. The nationally-ranked football team will be in action as well when they road trip to Lexington, Va., for a 1:30 p.m. contest against SoCon rival VMI. |
| SUNDAY (11/3) |
| The men's tennis team will wrap up play at the Wofford Invitational on Sunday. Should the men's soccer team prevail over Furman in the opening round of the SoCon Tournament on Friday, the Bears will advance to take on top-seeded UNC Greensboro at 2 p.m. |
