Bears Send Five To Stats Perform FCS All-America Teams

MACON – The investment into the best season in Mercer football program history continued to pay dividends on Wednesday when four student-athletes were named to the 2024 Stats Perform FCS All-America team, while another garnered a spot on the FCS Freshman All-America Team, the organization announced.

Senior TJ Moore (DB) was Mercer's lone representative on the first team squad, while Brayden Manley (DL) and Myles Redding (DB) both notched a spot on the second team all-America list. Punt returner Brayden Smith also grabbed a spot in Wednesday's release as a member of the third team.

Quarterback menace Andrew Zock (DL) notched his spot in the record books on Wednesday as well when he was named to the frosh all-America team.

The four Stats Perform FCS all-America nods is the most for the Bears in the 51-season history of the program. Zock is Mercer's first-ever student-athlete to garner a spot on the Stats Perform FCS Freshman All-America team.
