KAUA'I, HAWAII - Camilla Järvelä carded a 1-under, 71 in her second round on Monday and sits in a tie for 14th heading into the final round of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational from Kaua'i, Hawaii.

The Bears improved by four strokes from round one to round two as Mercer shot a 6-over, 294 on Monday. For the tournament, the Bears are 16-over 592 and in 11th place in the 15 team field. Arizona State continues to lead the field as they've opened up a 14-shot lead as the Sun Devils are 30-under par for the tournament.

Järvelä's two rounds of par or better have her set up for a chance at a top 10 finish in the field of 95 players. Her round of 71 on Monday included back-to-back birdies on holes 17 and 18 as she finished the day with four birdies in her round.

Eujin Pyon had a solid round of 72 (E) to move up 16 spots on the player leaderboard. She matched Järvelä with four birdies in her round as she was excellent on the par 5s where three of her four birdies came. Tracy Rodriguez carded a 2-over, 72 playing as an individual. She had four birdies on the front nine for a 2-under, 35.

The final round on Tuesday will begin at 9 a.m. Hawaii standard time / 3 p.m. eastern from a shotgun start.
