
Women's Golf In Hawaii for Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational

KAUAI, HAWAII - The Mercer women's golf team is in Kaua'i, Hawaii to compete in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational from Ocean Course at Hokuala. The tournament - hosted by Hawaii University - begins Sunday, March 17 and will finish on March 19.
Teams will play Ocean Course at Hokuala as a par-72, 5,929-yard course. The field consists of 15 teams that will play 54 holes over the three-day tournament, playing 18 holes each day. The first round will begin on Sunday, at 9 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time (HST) / 3 p.m. eastern via a shotgun start.

The tournament is Mercer's first since winning the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational three weeks ago. The Bears are one of 10 teams in the field who are ranked in this week's NCAA Division I Top 100 (per SCOREBOARD).
Sacramento State will look to defend its title as they have won each of the last two Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational titles. The Ocean Course at Hōkūala is part of Timbers Kaua'i, a beautiful 450-acre resort property surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Kalapaki Bay and Hā'upu Mountain Range.
