MACON – Seton Hall (14-11, 0-0 Big East) will make the trek from New Jersey to Georgia on Thursday to play Mercer (14-9, 1-2 SoCon). First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m., and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

| Mercer opened Southern Conference play at UNC Greensboro over the weekend. The Bears won the opening game on Friday but lost the next two. Junior Colton Cosper pitched a complete game, giving up only two runs and striking out five batters, to help MU to the 5-2 win. Junior Jackson Cherry hit a solo home run in the third inning to score MU's first run of SoCon play. Mercer opened Sunday's rubbermatch with back-to-back solo home runs in the second inning, but UNCG dominated the game from the fourth inning on. Senior Carter Geier's home run was in his first plate appearance in his first start of the season. |

| Seton Hall has a 14-11 overall record and is on a three-game losing streak coming to Macon. The Pirates lost both games of a doubleheader against UMass and a midweek matchup at Hofstra. Both Mercer and Seton Hall defeated Monmouth earlier this season, but the Pirates went 2-1 over Georgia State not long before the Panthers beat the Bears. Seton Hall was voted third in the Big East Preseason Coaches' Poll. Three Pirates - shortstop Max Viera, outfielder Devin Hack, and pitcher Ryan Reich - were named to the Preseason All-Big East Team. Staus Pokrovsky leads the team at the plate with 21 RBI, a .522 slugging percentage, and five home runs. |

| Mercer will host Kennesaw State on Tuesday to complete the season's two-game series with the Owls. The Bears won 9-3 for their first road game of the season in Kennesaw in February. The game in Macon will be at 6 p.m. |
