O'Mara Surpasses Individual Wins Record With 35

MACON – With her three victories at Wednesday's Bears Beach Bash, Nicole O'Mara has surpassed the program's NCAA individual wins record with 35.Â

O'Mara tops a mark that was split by ASUN All-Decade Team members Tori Penrod and Emily Krogman, who amassed 34 wins as a pair from 2016-17. Â
"I am very, very proud of Nicole. She has been a foundational piece of our program for the last three years, and for her to be able to set the individual wins record is an example of her commitment to this program," head coach Josh Marsh said.Â

During her sophomore campaign, the Prague native went on a 13-0 run with partner Kate Hardie to set a new school record. The record includes a straight-set victory over 20th-ranked Coastal Carolina and a three-set affair triumph over 25th-ranked UAB. Â

O'Mara has 11 wins on the season so far, partnering with Jordan Paddock on court two and helping lead the Bears to their highest win total since 2017. Â
