Stacie Jones Named SoCon Player of the Week

Jones had a career high 30 points in win over Samford
MACON, Ga. - Mercer senior forward Stacie Jones was named SoCon Player of the Week for the final regular season week of the season as announced by the Southern Conference office Tuesday afternoon.
This is Jones' second SoCon Player of the Week recognition this season, joining teammate Summah Evans who also received the recognition twice this year.
In one game this past week against Samford, Jones scored a career high 30 points to go with seven rebounds. Jones went 10-for-21 from the field and was a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line as well.
Jones' 30 points were tied for the fourth most points scored in a game by any SoCon player this season.
Jones and the Bears are set to open up the SoCon Tournament in Asheville, North Carolina on Thursday, March 7 at 5:45 p.m. Mercer earned the No. 4 seed and its quarterfinal opponent is No. 5 ETSU.Â
