Bears Shoot Even Par In Round Two Of The SoCon Men's Golf Championship

GREENSBORO – Senior Tobias Jonsson continues to lead the Bears in round two after shooting a 4-under-par 68 in round two at the Southern Conference Golf Championship at the 7,174 yard, par 72 Reynolds Lake Oconee Course.

Jacob Uyesato continues his great play, shooting a 2-over-par to move to a share of 18^th place. Jonathan Parker and Gustav Sjoberg are both currently tied 26^thplace after shooting a 3-over-par 75 and a 1-over-par 73, respectively. Jay Spivey (+7) sits right behind Sjoberg and Parker after shooting a 1-over-par 73.

ETSU (-22) continues to sit a top of the 8-team field after shoot 9-under-par in round one. Chattanooga (-18) finished round two strongly shooting fourteen-under-par and is four strokes behind ETSU. Behind Chattanooga is UNCG, who shot a 5-under-par in round two to overtake Furman (+1) for third place.

The Bears will return to the tee box for the final round tomorrow, April 23 at the Southern Conference Golf Championship.
