Football To Celebrate 478 Day On August 29

MACON – Athletics department officials from Mercer University announced Thursday that the Bears will pay tribute to the Middle Georgia community on August 29 when the 25th-ranked football team opens its 2024 campaign at Five Star Stadium against Presbyterian. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

As part of the promotion, fans can purchase general admission tickets for just $4.78 by visiting MercerBears.com/478Day. Group packages of 15 tickets or more can be purchased by calling the Mercer Athletics Ticket Office at (910) 952-1740.

Reserved-seat season tickets for the 2024 home football schedule have already gone on sale and can be purchased for as little as $75 by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. MU has adjusted pricing in some sections of the stadium to accommodate a sixth game and assist our season ticket holders in purchasing premier seat locations.
