Mercer Finishes In 12th At Gators Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Mikayla Dubnik finished tied for 19th and the Mercer women's golf team finished in 12th place in the 14-team field at the Gators Invitational from Gainesville, Florida.
The course proved to be tough throughout the tournament as the hosts, Florida Gators won the tournament at 9-over, 849. Mercer finished at 55-over, 895.
Mikayla Dubnik finished tied for 19th among the 77 players competing in the field. Dubnik had three consistent rounds of 74 (+4), 70 (E) and 72 (+2). She had the second most pars in the field throughout the tournament with 42 pars.
Up next for the Bears is a trip to Maui, Hawaii to play in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational for the second consecutive year. The tournament is March 24-26.
