Bears Complete Second Round at SoCon Championship

GREENSBORO, GA. – The Mercer men's golf team completed day two of the SoCon Championship on Monday at Reynolds Lake Oconee, dropping to eighth place on the team leaderboard.

Connor Holcroft was the Bears' low man in round two, shooting one-under to move to even for the tournament. Holcroft sits in a tie for 20th on the individual leaderboard, while Cole Hanson and Trey Mixon follow one stroke behind to tie for 22nd.

After taking the lead on day one, UNCG was joined atop the team leaderboard by East Tennessee State following the second day of play. UNCG's Colin Dutton shot six-under in round two to take control of the top spot individually.
