Mercer Releases Theme Programming For 2025 Football Home Slate

MACON – The nationally-ranked Mercer football team announced an action-packed promotional slate for the Middle Georgia community on Thursday afternoon. These themes and promotions will honor and recognize some of the most important groups that make Middle Georgia a truly remarkable place to live, work, and play.

AUGUST 30 VS. PRESBYTERIAN (6 P.M.)

Teacher Appreciation Night/Welcome Back To School/478 Day

Area educators will be honored for their dedication to making a difference in the lives of Middle Georgia students
Mercer will officially welcome back its more-than 9,000 students
Local elementary school students and their families can purchase tickets for $4.78 as part of 478 Day
Individual tickets for all fans start at $4.78 as a salute to the Middle Georgia area code

SEPTEMBER 13 VS. WOFFORD (6 P.M.)

Hometown Heroes Night

Tribute to the dedication, valor and selflessness of area first responders, including police, fire and EMS personnel
Fans can interact with our Hometown Heroes, as well as view a wide display of emergency and first responder equipment and vehicles

OCTOBER 4 VS. SAMFORD (4 P.M.)

Family Weekend/Georgia Infrastructure Day

Held in coordination with Mercer University Family Weekend

NOVEMBER 15 VS. CHATTANOOGA (3 P.M.)

Homecoming/Senior Day/Agriculture Appreciation Day

Game will culminate Homecoming Week festivities on campus
