No. 23 Mercer Wraps Up Road Trip At East Tennessee State

MACON – The 23rd-ranked Mercer football team closes out a 2-game Southern Conference road trip when it takes on league rival East Tennessee State on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. inside William B. Greene Jr. Stadium in Johnson City, Tenn.

Saturday's game will be broadcasted live on ESPN+ with Keith Brake and Mark Hutsell handling the duties in the booth. Rick Cameron and the rest of the Mercer Sports Network will call all of the action as well, and fans can listen to that broadcast on The Creek 100.9 FM, or by visiting Sportsmic. A live statistics link is also being provided by the ETSU athletics department.

The Bears are 6-4 all-time in a series with East Tennessee State that dates back to the 2015 season ... The Bucs returned as a member of the Southern Conference in 2015 after nine seasons in the Atlantic Sun Conference … The Bears have won four of the last five matchups in the series, including a 24-6 triumph in their last trip to Johnson City, Tenn., in 2023 ... Mercer will ride a six-game win streak against Southern Conference teams into Saturday's game at East Tennessee State ... The Bears last league loss came in the form of a 55-35 loss at Samford that marked the first loss of the season for MU in 2024 ... MU has now captured 15 of its last 17 games against SoCon opponents dating back to a 38-3 win over VMI on Sept. 30, 2023 ... The Bears are 8-1 at home across that stretch and 7-1 away from Macon
